Fixing Cracks with Carbon Reinforcement in Talbott, TN

Solution

To fix the settlement issues, Foreman Jake and the team implemented our carbon reinforcement method. This approach is effective for bowed, cracked, and damaged walls. To start, the team cleaned the walls using a hand-held grinder to remove old paint. This step also ensures that the epoxy, which is key to this technique, can firmly bind to surfaces. Next, straps of carbon fiber were soaked in the epoxy, pressed tightly to the wall, and allowed to cure. Once cured, these straps provided tension comparable to steel, providing durable support for the structure.
