Challenge
A homeowner in Tazewell, TN noticed leaks and foul odors in her crawlspace. Worse, she could detect this smell in the upper levels of the home. A member of the family had asthma, so the customer worried about the impact that the mold might have on their health.
Solution
One of our inspectors thoroughly examined the crawlspace. He confirmed that it contained an abundance of moisture, as well as mold. He recommended the installation of several systems, including our CleanSpace moisture barrier, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and TripleSafe sump pump. The moisture barrier shields areas from moisture, the dehumidifier keeps humidity at bay, and the sump pump catches water and pumps it out of the home.
