Master Services at Color Me Rad 5k Event, 2015

On the morning of April 11, 2015, the Master Services team proudly supported and participated in the Color Me Rad 5k Race, a charity event benefitting the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. The race began and ended in downtown Knoxville, at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. With 5,000 participants in all, we were excited to have our valued team members on board! 

Trevor Jones, Robin Hurst, Danielle Hunley, Mitzi Anderson, Jonathan Lanning, Kathryn Ann Holt, and more from our family joined in. With participants from the Marketing Department to Human Resources to our Production Crew, we made certain that Master Services was represented wholly, diversely, and happily.

We were out with signs to drum up some enthusiasm. We wanted people to be as excited as we are about our free home inspections, and we want people to know that Master Services is always available to them.

With eight members of the Master Services team and Family, we were ready to go! Though, not too quickly…Lauren Widner, one of our amazing Customer Service Representatives, is eight months pregnant and still participated! We walked, rather than running, in solidarity with our valued friend and colleague. With so much excitement in the air, it was great to be outside and with like-minded folks, working toward a larger cause.

Robin Hurst had this to say about the race: “It was lots of fun; a great team building experience for our company! Thank goodness we only walked, though. We're not runners. :) "

Since the team at Master Services focuses on integrity and values, an event like this was really the perfect fit. Combining teamwork, a good cause, and tons of fun all at once, it’s pretty clear that this was an activity full of positivity.

Kathryn Ann Holt summed up the experience perfectly, offering: "We absolutely love participating in events like Color Me Rad! Not only do we get the opportunity to support a great cause (East Tennessee Children's Hospital), but it's also a fantastic team-building experience. It's always fun to spend time with coworkers and their loved ones outside of work. We're just one big happy family, and we have a blast together!"
