Our water guard system in the making
We dug out a portion of the cement slab to make room for the water guard. We made sure not to drill all the way to the soil underneath.

This pump is safely installed at the lowest point of the basement, using gravity to effectively redirect any water infiltration.

As you can notice, there are clear signs of water infiltration and mold formations on the walls.
The sump pump is being placed at the lowest elevation of the basement.
We surrounded the pump with gravel in order to improve water filtration towards the pump.
