Local Company Makes Christmas Merrier for Area Foster Children: Shopping Spree with Lots of Smiles

Master Services held their “One Community Shopping Trip” on Saturday, December 19th. The company sponsored fifteen children in the foster care system through the organization, Blount County Foster Parent Association. Staff volunteers were each given a “buddy” to shop with, children ranging from 2 months to 17 years old. Social distancing was observed, as the children were able to pick out clothes, toys and necessities for Christmas.

Organizer, Amanda Pope, the Community Ambassador for the company said: “This was a fun experience where we met some great families and made some new friends.  A special thanks to Target on Clinton Hwy for all their help and kindness during this event.”

Master Services is also currently collecting money for the Boys & Girls Club, the Isaiah 1:17 House and waterproofed the basement at Angel Ministries earlier this year as part of its initiative to serve and uplift the community.  Although COVID-19 has made serving a little tougher, the company is committed to fundraising and/or volunteering to help a different non-profit entity each month.  Sister company, Junkluggers donates items to KARM on a regular basis.
