Good job looking over the project. Great info about the issues we have. We were told how to prepare for the foundation work. Moved landscape rocks 3 to 4 ft from the foundation. We did that. When the install crew began the work it was not far enough away from the foundation, there was too much dirt. We were not told we needed to also move the metal edging. Lost all the landscape rocks - a ton + and 40 + feet of metal edging during the work process. We would have gladly moved these items if we had been told to completely remove them.
Hard workers. Foundation work great. Problem with 811 -- they miss marked the water line, and the crew hit it. Water company worked on it but the problem was also with connecting to the house. Crew worked to repair the leak inside - it is still leaking this morning a very small amount, but it is a water leak. We will have to have this completely fixed. The crew worked a very long day. They got here around 8:45 am and left after 7:00 pm. They were tired by the end of the day. Maybe they should have come back and completed the clean-up another day.
Still, in progress - yard is a mess. We were told to call Master Services in 2 weeks to come back out after we had some rain and work on the dirt in the yard and next to the foundation. Gutter drain tube not buried, in fact, had we not called attention to this it would not even be hooked back up. Irrigation sprinkler head and pipe about a foot or more out above the ground. Dirt near concrete slab even or above the slab. Unless this settles we will need to remove dirt to put landscape rock in, also pour concrete where the slab was cut.
We met with 3 total companies to take bids. Master Services did the best job explaining the problem and the solution. You were the most thorough. You also were the most expensive. However, you put in more piers than the other companies.
I will call for further work in the future.
