WaterGuard and Sump Pump in Mountain City, TN

Challenge

The homeowners of a Mountain City, TN home had been struggling with water in their basement since 1978. The standing water was accompanied by a musty smell. This water was not only streaming through the walls but was also coming up through the ground. Because of the constant presence of water, the damage was continually getting worse. Solution

Master Services began the work by installing a WaterGuard Drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. This system led to an UltraSump sump pump that was also installed to pump the water out of the basement and away from the home. An IceGuard piping attachment was also installed on the outside of the basement to prevent any blockage of the pump drainage pipe during cold East Tennessee winters. Lastly, a SaniDry dehumidifier was also installed to regulate the humidity in the basement, preventing mold growth. After decades of water problems, the homeowners could rest easy knowing that they had a permanent solution to their issues.
