Tellico Plains resident, Ben W., had water damage and frequent leakage in the crawl space of his home for over a year. The water leakage was causing significant amounts of mold growth. In an attempt to reduce the water, a tarp had been placed over the dirt floor and around the perimeter of the crawlspace. However, it proved to be useless. Solution

A CleanSpace Light Encapsulation System, including CleanSpace Drainage Matting, Wrap Piers, and a CleanSpace vent cover were installed to ensure a lasting solution. The matting was installed around the perimeter of the crawl space in order to insulate and seal the walls and floor, acting as a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from getting in. After the CleanSpace installation was complete, Benjamin and his team did a survey of the area to ensure that the system worked properly.
