Our team recently completed a crawl space project for a homeowner in Chattanooga, TN, who had been dealing with sagging floors and excess moisture under his home. The crawl space wasn’t in great shape, and he’d started to worry about the long-term effects on his home. When he called us, he was looking for a solution that would turn his crawl space from a damp, dark liability into a space he could rely on.   We began by installing a SmartJack System. These adjustable steel supports were exactly what the floor joists needed to keep the floor above stable and level. As soon as the jacks were in place, the whole area felt more secure. Next, we focused on moisture. To manage water flow even during freezes, we installed an IceGuard Discharge Line outside. Inside the crawl space, we added a SuperSump Pump, giving the area a powerful solution to stay dry and prevent any moisture buildup from wreaking havoc. We also upgraded the entry point with an EverLast Door. Unlike traditional wooden doors, this one seal tightly, keeping out pests, moisture, and Tennessee’s fluctuating weather. And since we believe in making maintenance as easy as possible, we installed a new light fixture with a switch, giving the homeowner clear visibility every time he enters.   With these updates, the crawl space is now stable, dry, and easily accessible. It’s no longer an area to be ignored but a key part of the home that’s now doing its job to protect and preserve the property.
