Charles and Cindy M. called Master Dry in an effort to eliminate the water in the basement of their Afton, TN home. The water damage had been building up for about ten years and the couple was interested in making their basement a livable space.
Scott Frazier, a sales associate for Master Dry was sent out to take a look at the home and decide which solution would work best. At Scott’s recommendation, a team led my foreman Michael Geasland went to work on the couple’s basement. To correct the water damage that had been suffered, the team installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to dry and filter the air, a WaterGuard drainage system to prevent future water backups, and a SuperSump pump as another preventative measure in case water were to accumulate in the basement. This particular SuperSump was also equipped with UltraSump, a backup battery that will keep the pump running in the event of a power outage. To complete the project, the team also replaced that water heater in the home as well as the HVAC unit.
