We Use
|
The sunken and cracked concrete around your Hamilton County home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse, but we can fix it for you.
We use slab jacking or mudjacking for smaller jobs such as leveling sidewalks, patios, driveways, and pool decks. Precise holes are drilled into your slab. Then a specialized mortar-like grout or "mud" is pumped, under pressure, to raise and level your slab. The holes are filled with concrete and troweled smooth. Most jobs can be completed in one day. For larger jobs we use slab piers. These can be used to correct large sections of concrete such as warehouse slabs. Call us today to learn more.

This Chattanooga homeowner had a spacious basement—but it was flooding! To fix the problem, Kieran and the team installed one of Master Services’ failsafe waterproofing systems.
To collect water and direct it out of the basement, the team installed a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System. Our most reliable system, the TripleSafe™ provides three levels of protection to keep basement areas clean and dry, even in the event of a power outage.
Next, our WaterGuard® Drainage System was installed underneath the perimeter of the basement floor. This ensured that water wouldn’t have an opportunity to collect in the area. The customer also decided to go with the IceGuard® Discharge Line System, an anti-freezing component that is installed outside of the home and directs water away from the home in the event of a frozen or clogged sump pump discharge line.
Now this homeowner can rest easy knowing that her basement is water—and ice—proof.
Horace and his team recently had a PolyLyft project in Hixson, TN. The homeowner was concerned about the sidewalk in front of his home, and he called the Master Services team out to work their concrete-leveling magic.
Concrete can shift for a variety of reasons, including from soil erosion, drought, or too much moisture. Concrete is heavy and too much rain can wash the soil away, or cause the slab to sink. When there’s a drought, the soil shrinks and shifts the concrete.
To fix the sidewalk, the team drilled holes at strategic intervals to make room for injection ports. These were then injected with our durable, high-density PolyLyft. This fills the holes and expands, raising the slab to an even position.
The sidewalk looked like new by the time our team was done, and the homeowner was thrilled with our work.
Horace and his team recently had a PolyLyft project in Ooltewah, TN. The concrete deck surrounding the homeowner’s pool had shifted, creating a tripping hazard.
To fix the problem, the team injected the slab with PolyLyft. This high-density material expands and as it does, raises the slab to an even position. Once this process was finished, the team made sure to cover over the strategically placed injection sites.
By the time the team was finished, there was little risk of anyone falling and hurting themselves—which is especially important around a pool.
This business in Chattanooga, TN needed some help. The basement was flooding and the owner needed a system in place to keep water out of the area. Cue Master Services.
To waterproof the basement, Kieran and his team worked along the perimeter with jackhammers to create a path for our sump pump system. Once this was in place, they installed a TripleSafe™, which is our most robust waterproofing system. This system provides three pumps in one, and will work even after a power outage.
With this level of protection in place, the owner can rest assured that the basement will be protected and dry.
This Chattanooga, TN homeowner contacted Master Services to repair foundation settlement issues. To address the foundation problems, the team installed helical piers to stabilize and realign the structure.
Helical piers are used in situations when bedrock is lacking, and feature plates that are welded to the pier shaft. These plates anchor the piers to the soil as they are driven beneath a structure. Helical piers transfer the weight of a structure to the surrounding soil using a “friction lock,” which provides additional support.
This was a particularly tough job, but the team did their best to lift the home and pushed the piers to their limits. In the end, the homeowner was pleased with Master Services’ hard work and determination to raise the structure.
This home in Apison, TN was shifting due to foundation settlement. Sagging beams, rotten wood, sloping floors, and other structural issues are all signs of foundation settlement.
To fix the problem, Master Services installed our SmartJack® system. These joist repair posts provide support to sagging and undersized beams, and they restore structural stability to homes. First, the team mapped out each location for the support jack and then excavated a 2’ square, 2’ deep hole at each location. These sites were then filled with tightly compacted crushed stone.
A pre-cast footing was installed atop the fill site and carefully leveled. This serves as a base for the jack post and keeps it vertical to distribute the weight properly. Next, the jack posts were cut to length and then assembled within the crawl space. The top of the smart jack was mounted against the girder, then each smart jack is tightened to lift the floor back to its original—or as close to original—position. These jacks are adjustable, meaning that they can be tightened in the future if necessary.
By the time the team was finished, the homeowner was thrilled that his crawlspace had the support and structure it needed.
This homeowner in Signal Mountain, TN took a lot of pride in his pool area, so he was dismayed to notice cracks forming in the concrete slab. Not only are cracks unattractive, but they can present serious safety hazards if someone were to trip over one.
The homeowner called Master Services to come out and work our magic!
First, the team drilled holes at strategic intervals along the concrete slab. Then, they injected each hole with our high-density PolyLyft. As the PolyLyft expands, it raises the surrounding concrete to a level position. Even better, the PolyLyft cures in just about 30 minutes!
The homeowner was thrilled to have his pool area back to normal.
This home in Signal Mountain, TN was built in the 60s, so it definitely qualified as a bit of an “antique.” Water was constantly entering the crawlspace and leaving things dank, musty, and, potentially, moldy. The homeowner needed the area fixed before mold and rot settled in.
To keep these dangers away, the team installed our CleanSpace® Crawl Space Vapor Barrier. The liner is installed along the floor and prevents humidity and flood water from impacting vulnerable areas. Without such a system in place, water can settle on wooden floor joists, beams, cardboard, insulation, and other areas. This can create rot, which in turn creates substantial repair costs.
This crawlspace should be safe with CleanSpace in place.
The pool deck of this Sale Creek, TN home was sinking and sloping. Concrete slabs often shrink due to soil erosion. In other cases, an influx of rain washes away the soils beneath the concrete. Too little rain and the ground contracts and shrinks, causing damage and other irregularities to concrete.
This homeowner was concerned about tripping hazards. To fix the area, Master Services installed ports at strategic intervals along the slab. Next, they injected each port with our patented PolyLyft. This high-density product expands, filling voids and raising concrete to a level position. The PolyLyft cures in as little as 30 minutes, and it can be walked on that quickly.
The homeowner was pleased that we were able to lift his pool deck without a messy, disruptive process.
This Signal Mountain, TN homeowner noticed cracks forming in the exterior walls of his residence. He’d been in the house for over 30 years and had consulted other companies about fixing the issue, but wasn’t convinced that they offered the best solution. He needed the cause of the cracks fixed, not just a cosmetic fix for the cracks.
The Master Services team knew that the issue was due to settlement. Over time, the soils under and around a structure shift. This happens because of flooding, soil erosion, and extremes in temperature. As the structure settles, cracks and other issues become apparent. Over time, these changes can lead to costly repairs.
Master Services installed our helical piers, which secure the home to stronger soils around the property. The piers provide durable stabilization and security, meaning the house will no longer shift and settle. With a system like this in place, the home is protected against further cracks or structural damage.
This Birchwood, TN patio area was sinking. Sidewalks, patios, walkways, driveways, and other cement areas can settle due to several factors. In this case, the patio likely shifted due to soil being washed away by rain.
To fix the problem, the Master Services team drilled injection sites at intervals along the patio. Each site was then injected with PolyLyft, which is a miracle product when it comes to concrete leveling. The polyurethane expands as it fills voids beneath the concrete, effectively raising the slab to an even position. PolyLyft cures within an hour and can be walked on the same day.
A home in Hixson, TN had a front sidewalk that was shifting due to settlement. Extremes in temperature and rainfall often will cause soil to swell, shrink, or wash away. This causes concrete to shift, sink, and crack.
To fix concrete settlement, Master Services turns to PolyLyft. The team drills holes along the slab, then injects each with high-density polyurethane. The polyurethane then expands, filling any voids and raising the slab to an even position. The PolyLyft cures within an hour and can be walked on soon after!
With PolyLyft in place, this sidewalk will be level and should present no tripping hazards!
A home near Bakewell, TN was experiencing foundation settlement due to shifting soils. Signs of settlement include cracked brick, unlevel floors, cracked concrete, leaning chimneys, and more.
The Master Services team installed helical piers, which resemble enormous screws. These are used when there's insufficient bedrock to support the weight of the home. The helical piers feature plates which are welded to the pier shaft, then secured to resilient surrounding soils. This system provides dependable support and corrects settlement issues.
With our piers installed, this home will be in good shape for years to come.
This home near Lupton City, TN was undergoing settlement, which occurs when the ground beneath a home shifts or is washed away by rain. Settlement can lead to sever structural problems, like cracks, stuck windows and doors, and other irregularities. It's best
To fix this home, our team turned to our dependable push and helical piers, which anchor the home and prevent further damage. These systems provide long-lasting security and halt the damaging impacts of settlement.
A front sidewalk at a home in Signal Mountain, TN was sinking, creating unattractive tripping hazards. Concrete settles due to changes in the soil, usually due to rain that washes away soil and creates gaps beneath slabs.
Our team fixed the sidewalk using our amazing PolyLyft, a high-density product that effectively levels slabs within minutes. Holes are drilled along the slab, then injected with PolyLyft. As the poly spreads out, it raises the slab... eradicating uneven surfaces and safety hazards!
A homeowner in Soddy Daisy, TN had lived in his home for a little over a year and planned on staying for many more. However, when he investigated his crawlspace, he noticed mold and fungus growth... along with a musty odor! To fix the area, the Master Services team installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Both systems mitigate moisture, eliminate odor, and keep areas sanitary.
A customer located near Collegedale, TN lived in a relatively new home, but she noticed some alarming issues developing in the floors above her crawlspace. The floors were sloping, and she also noticed cracks forming in close proximity. She was concerned about more extensive damage forming, so she called us out to work our magic.
We installed several products to ensure the health of the crawlspace: our CleanSpace vapor barrier, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and SmartJacks. The vapor barrier prevents moisture from passing through and creating mold, mildew, and rot, while the dehumidifier keeps the area sanitary and dry. The SmartJacks provide durable support to undersized beams and joists... and they're adjustable, meaning that they can be tightened if future conditions call for it.
Now that the home has jacks installed, the floors should have all the support they need.
A homeowner in Chattanooga, TN had lived in his home for just six months, but already was noticing problems in his crawlspace. He looked inside and noticed standing water, as well as moisture on the walls. He also noticed an unpleasant odor! Bad news!
Our team performed an inspection and recommended several systems that would protect the area and keep it sanitary, dry, and odor-free. We installed our CleanSpace moisture barrier and TripleSafe sump pump. These systems create a perfect strategy for combating mold and moisture.
This homeowner has nothing more to worry about when it comes to the integrity of his crawlspace!
Our team was contacted by a homeowner in Soddy Daisy, TN who was concerned about the state of her crawlspace. She originally rented the home, but purchased it outright six months ago. She planned on living in the house for the rest of her life, so she wanted to take care of any issues before they became huge headaches. With mold inside a crawlspace, headaches usually are imminent!
Our team inspected the crawlspace and found an abundance of mold growth. When a crawlspace becomes inundated with water, it creates the perfect conditions for mold to grow. As it does, it releases spores into the air. Due to the "stack effect," air from the crawlspace rises into the upper levels of the home. This creates respiratory issues for residents, as well as headaches.
Our team recommended our soda blasting system. This system involves "blasting" surfaces with sodium bicarbonate, which removes mold and sanitizes the area. It's a safe, eco-friendly way to combat mold and keep crawlspaces tidy!
A homeowner in Birchwood, TN called us about some damaged walls in his basement. We took a look and suggested our minimally invasive Carbon Fiber Wall Reinforcement system. This method involves soaking carbon fiber strapping in epoxy and then pressing it against the damaged wall. The epoxy cures, providing stability to the wall and reinforcing it. This method can be disguised with paint or drywall.
Master Services was contacted by a customer near Collegedale, TN who recently purchased a home and was remodeling it. During the course of this project, he investigated the crawlspace and discovered moisture collecting in the area. He was going to rent out the home as soon as he finished fixing it, so he knew that the crawlspace needed a waterproofing system in place.
He called out our team for an inspection. Our inspector concurred with the owner that the home definitely needed a moisture-proofing strategy. We recommended our CleanSpace moisture barrier and TripleSafe sump pump, among other products, to deter water, mildew, mold, pests, rot, and odors. The liner is tear and mold resistant and comes with a 25-year warranty. The TripleSafe is our most reliable sump pump, working even during a power outage.
The property owner can trust that he'll have no issues with the crawlspace from now on.
A homeowner in Chattanooga, TN was concerned about the state of her crawlspace, which lacked any kind of encapsulation or liner to protect it from moisture. Some homeowners consider crawlspace repair work to be unnecessary, not realizing the many problems that can arise from an unprotected space. Pests, mold, rot, mildew, and structural damage are common when crawlspaces are not fortified against water!
The Master Services team got to work installing our CleanSpace moisture barrier, as well as our TripleSafe sump pump. The barrier protects against the previously mentioned problems, while the pump collects water and directs it outside of the home via a perimeter drainage system. The water is deposited safely away from the home's foundation and landscaping.
In the rolling hills of Collegedale, Tennessee, Lukas B., a thoughtful homeowner, connected with Master Services about cracks emerging beneath his front porch. Our home inspector quickly determined that the damage was caused by soil movements, amplified by the incline the house perched upon.
A practical solution emerged — helical piers, sturdy companions ready to anchor and uplift, especially attuned to the embrace of the local clay soil. Lukas, nodding to these reliable allies, not only found assurance but etched a commitment into the very essence of his property — a promise of enduring stability and unwavering security for his cherished abode.
Cory C. noticed clear signs of water infiltration and early bowing on one of his basement walls. Worried about potential damage, he promptly contacted Master Services. After scheduling an appointment, a skilled home inspector assessed the basement and identified the root issue: hydrostatic pressure. Over time, water pressure from outside the basement was causing fractures in the wall. We recommended the installation of our Power Braces, which stabilized the wall by connecting it to the wooden beam joists and the cement floor. Importantly, this process didn't disrupt the home, landscaping, or surrounding property. Cory was satisfied, and he could now use the space as additional living space without concerns about further bowing of the wall.
Our company received a call from Jerome G. of Hixson, TN, who had previously had his crawlspace partially encapsulated by the home builder a few years ago. Concerned about a foul odor emanating from the crawlspace, Jerome discovered clear signs of mold, water condensation, and the first indications of wood warping on his beams. Following an appointment scheduled by our inspector, it became evident that Jerome's crawlspace required thorough attention and a proper encapsulation. Working within the confined space of 4 to 5 feet in height, our crew installed our CleanSpace system, a high-quality multilayered barrier designed for optimal resistance. This system, once securely installed, effectively captures any water or vapor infiltration. To further enhance heat insulation, we integrated our SilverGlo system, whose reflective surface redirects heat back into the crawlspace, ensuring optimal energy savings. Additionally, we complemented the CleanSpace system with our EZFlow perimeter drainage system, redirecting water towards the sump pump for proper disposal.
Matt E. noticed a significant amount of efflorescence (mineral residue) accumulating on one of the walls in his basement, which raised concerns about potential further damage. Promptly, he contacted Master Services, particularly because we had previously reinforced his basement walls with wall anchors a few months ago. Upon scheduling an appointment, one of our knowledgeable home inspectors visited his basement and identified the underlying issues: water seepage through the bricks leading to the formation of efflorescence, a white powdery residue often mistaken for mold. We recommended installing our Water Guard perimeter system in conjunction with a moisture barrier around the walls. This system would collect water from the outside, redirect it towards a sump pump, and then discharge it far away from the basement, effectively addressing the issue.
Blair W. noticed her home's floors warping under her feet. After seeing one of our trucks working in her neighborhood, she decided to give us a call to explain the nature of her issue. Once we scheduled an appointment with one of our home inspectors, we explained to her that the problem could be easily resolved using our trusted SmartJacks. These devices are made of a rust-resistant alloy capable of withstanding the increasing pressure of the upper floor. We then installed four SmartJacks at strategic spots. Even in this tight space, our crew was able to dig the bases, install the jacks, and fill the holes, leaving the area free of debris.
With this solution in place, Blair has resolved her issues with sinking floors and has gained new confidence in the market value of her home.
A homeowner in Apison, TN, recently inherited a house and was eager to rent it out. However, before doing so, he wanted to address the poor air quality in the crawlspace. Concerned about potential mold and moisture issues, he contacted Master Services for help. Our home inspector conducted a thorough evaluation of the area and identified several problems, including high humidity, mold growth, and weakening joists. To resolve these issues, he recommended our CleanSpace vapor barrier, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and TripleSafe sump pump.
The crawlspace had been poorly encapsulated years before, which allowed moisture to build up over time, leading to the mold and spore proliferation. Some of the structural joists had even begun to weaken from the damage. The homeowner knew he needed to act quickly to prevent further deterioration.
Our crew got to work, starting by clearing out the clutter and removing the old, ineffective encapsulation. They then sealed the vents to block outside air from entering and destabilizing the controlled environment inside. Once the space was prepped, they installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier, ensuring protection against future moisture problems.
Finally, we set up the Sedona dehumidifier to regulate humidity levels and improve air quality. Thanks to these efforts, the homeowner now has a clean, dry crawlspace, giving him peace of mind as he moves forward with his rental plans.

Wanting to secure her house for the long haul, she reached out to Master Services for help. Our home inspector arrived promptly to assess the situation, performing a thorough evaluation of the crawlspace. After identifying the areas that needed reinforcement, he provided Linda with a clear, free quote. Trusting the expertise, she wasted no time in scheduling the project.
Once the appointment was set, our crew arrived on time and ready to work. They installed our SmartJack system, which is designed to support and stabilize crawlspace beams in tight areas. The adjustable jacks provide reliable reinforcement, offering peace of mind for homeowners like Linda, who need a long-term solution. The crew worked efficiently, taking care to keep the workspace clean and organized. Before leaving, they made sure the crawlspace was in better shape than when they found it, leaving Linda impressed not just with the result, but with how smooth and quick the whole process was.
Now, Linda can relax in her living room without worrying about the floor beneath her. The house is more secure, and she’s thrilled with the transformation, confident that her home is set for many more years of enjoyment.
Kathy, a homeowner in Harrison, TN, loved hosting family gatherings on her patio, but recently noticed it was starting to sink and become uneven. The once-perfect spot for relaxation was now a source of frustration. After realizing the problem wasn’t going away, Kathy reached out to Master Services for help.
We quickly scheduled an appointment, and our home inspector came out to assess the issue. After a free quote, we determined PolyLyft was the best solution—a high-density foam designed to lift and level concrete slabs. At the scheduled appointment, our crew got to work, carefully raising the sinking patio back to its original position. They made sure to leave the area spotless, even better than they found it.
Kathy was thrilled to have her patio restored and safe again, just in time for her next family barbecue. With the patio leveled, she was ready to enjoy her favorite outdoor space without worry.
A homeowner in Chattanooga, Tennessee, was dealing with an uncomfortable amount of humidity coming from their crawl space. Worried about what the moisture could mean for the home’s foundation, they called Master Services Crawl Space and Foundation Repair to investigate.
When our team arrived, we took a careful look at the crawl space, noting signs of dampness and debris that had collected over time. We knew we needed a lasting solution, so we recommended a comprehensive approach: first, we’d remove the debris to start fresh, then install a CleanSpace liner to keep moisture out. We also suggested adding an EverLast door, which would seal off the crawl space and keep it protected, along with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to continuously keep the humidity under control.
After the work was done, the homeowner was truly relieved. Their crawl space was now clean, dry, and set up to stay that way, giving them peace of mind and a home that felt safe from moisture damage.
A homeowner in Chattanooga, Tennessee, noticed some unsettling signs in their home: floors that felt uneven, doors that didn’t close properly, and cracks beginning to form in the walls. Concerned about the stability of their foundation, they reached out to Master Services for an inspection.
After a thorough assessment, our team determined that the home required the SmartJack system. This innovative solution is designed to support and stabilize sagging floor joists and restore the structural integrity of homes facing foundation issues. The SmartJack system utilizes adjustable steel supports that are installed in the crawl space, providing reliable support and alleviating the stress on the foundation. Once the installation began, the homeowner could see the process unfold. Our skilled technicians expertly placed the SmartJacks in strategic locations, adjusting them to lift the floors back to their original level. As the work progressed, the homeowner’s worries began to fade.
Upon completion, the homeowner was extremely satisfied with the results. The floors felt solid again, doors closed smoothly, and the overall stability of the home was restored. With the SmartJack system in place, they could finally enjoy peace of mind, knowing their home was safe and sound.
A homeowner in Chattanooga, Tennessee, noticed that their driveway had become increasingly uneven over time. With noticeable cracks and sunken areas, it was not only an eyesore but also a safety hazard for their family and guests. Concerned about the potential for further damage, they decided to reach out to Master Services Crawl Space and Foundation Repair for a solution.
Upon arrival, our team conducted a thorough inspection of the driveway. We explained that the PolyLevel lifting system would be the best option to restore the surface. This innovative technique uses a high-density polymer that is injected beneath the concrete slab, filling voids and lifting it back into its original position. The process is quick, effective, and minimizes disruption to the surrounding area.
Once the work began, the homeowner watched as our skilled technicians carefully injected the PolyLevel material beneath the sunken sections of the driveway. With each injection, the driveway began to rise, and the transformation was remarkable.
After the job was completed, the homeowner was extremely pleased with the results. Their once-uneven driveway was now level, safe, and looked as good as new. They expressed their gratitude for the professionalism of our team and the effectiveness of the PolyLevel lift, feeling a renewed sense of pride in their home. A Chattanooga, TN, church noticed the concrete where they would park their vehicles was becoming uneven. The uneven surface had become a tripping hazard and was beginning to show cracks, making it not only an eyesore but a potential risk for them. Looking for a solution that would address the problem without the need for a complete slab replacement, they reached out to Master Services Crawl Space and Foundation Repair.
When our team arrived, we assessed the area and determined that a PolyLevel lift would be the ideal solution. The PolyLevel process uses an advanced foam injection system that fills any voids beneath the slab, lifting it back to its original level and stabilizing it to prevent future settling. Unlike traditional repair methods, PolyLevel is quick to apply and cures within minutes. The team got to work, carefully injecting the PolyLevel foam beneath the concrete. As the foam expanded, it gently lifted the slab, restoring the surface to an even level.
After the work was completed, the owner expressed how impressed they were with the results. The area was safe and level once again, and they could once again to utilize the area without worrying about anyone tripping on an uneven surface. The efficient and lasting results gave them the confidence that the area would remain sturdy and reliable for years to come.
