Bill K. of Turtletown, TN began noticing water in his home's basement. Fortunately, he found the water problem before it became a major issue. Foreman Danny Rowe led the Master Dry team through the installation. They began by installing a WaterGuard system around the perimeter of the basement. This system leads water to a Sump Pump that pumps the water out of the basement. An IceGuard was also installed to the pump line to prevent any debris, snow, or ice from blocking the flow of water out of the basement. Additionally, a LawnScape Outlet was installed to prevent water from being drained directly outside of the basement walls.

Bill now worries less about the damage that could potentially be done to his basement because of heavy rainfall!

This Copperhill, TN homeowner noticed some sagging beams in his basement. There also was some sloping of floors in the above-grade spaces, so he called Master Services out to fix the problem.  

The team recommended our SmartJack system. This system supports sagging beams and keeps structures aligned and stable. To install the system, the team excavates holes for each jack. Stone is then added to the holes to offer additional support. A footing is placed over the area, which means the steel jack post will have a stable base. Next, the jack posts are cut and measured. The jack is mounted against the girder, then tightened. This last step lifts the beams and floor back to their original position.

This system can be adjusted over time as needed, meaning it’s truly a permanent solution.

When a house undergoes settlement, it creates problems like cracks, stuck windows and doors, sloping floors, and other issues. If settlement isn't addressed, it inevitably will lead to expensive and disruptive repairs. This house in Delano, TN was settling, but the homeowner took the problem seriously and called Master Services out to help.

To fix the problem, the team installed helical piers. These piers look like oversized screws, and they provide stability and support for structures that are settling. The piers are installed along the foundation and are anchored in resilient soils.

Each port was injected with PolyLyft, which slowly expands and fills voids beneath concrete. As it expands, it raises the slab to an even position.

The Master Services team visited a wet, leaky crawlspace near Farner, TN that needed attention. Water will slowly damage a crawlspace over time, leading to wood rot and structural issues. Mold, also, will grow in a wet crawlspace, creating ugly odors and attracting pests.

To fix this slab, the team placed holes at strategically chosen intervals along the deck. Next, we injected the sites with PolyLyft, a high-density polyurethane that rises and expands under the concrete. As it does, it fills voids and other areas, raising the concrete and evening out gaps and cracks.
