A local Dayton company needed a resolution to their structural and drainage problems. Inspected by sales representative Steve Price, he determined that the project required helical peiring to improve the foundational structure.

The team, led by foreman Brad Cox, conducted the foundation repair by installing a helical pier, without a clause, as well as an exterior French drain. Upon the company’s request, the team installed the French drain by laying a bed of gravel, placing the French drain pop on top, and then placing a new layer of gravel on top of the pipe. They finished the job by backfilling the excavation. Although French drains are generally an older practice, the customer believed this met their property goals so Master Dry responded to their request.

With the use of affordable helical piers, the foundation repair specialists at Master Dry were able to alleviate uneven foundation setting problems. The helical piers were installed at set intervals along the side of the foundation that was settling. The piers were attached to the base of the foundation wall, and driven into the ground beneath the foundation, until they contacted strong supporting soils.
