This resident in Lebanon, VA was noticng some telltale signs of foundation settlement. Cracks were forming in both exterior and interior walls, and he feared what might happen if he let the problem continue with no intervention. So, he called out the Master Services team to provide a recommendation.

We recommended our Wall Anchor system, which provides superior support to bowed and cracking walls. This non-disruptive, effective method eliminates the need to rebuild or replace walls. It uses durable plates to help anchor and realign walls, and it is fully adjustable depending on future needs. 

A home located in Rosedale, VA had some foundation issues happening in the basement. The walls were exhibiting signs of structural failure, including cracks and bowing. When it's not possible to install wall anchors, usually due to property line restrictions or soil conditions, the team relies on power brace brackets to do the trick.

These brackets are designed to provide security and stabilization to the structure, and are an inexpensive alternative to replacing the walls themselves. They offer little in the way of disruption to the home or landscaping. At the top and bottom of each I-beam, the bracket is installed and fastened to the floor of the basement with concrete anchors. The top brackets then are bolted to floor joists. Steady pressure is exerted on the beam by turned adjustments. This will make the wall return to its original position over time.

Our team visited a sinking driveway in Castlewood, VA. Soil often can't support the weight of heavy concrete slabs. Freezing temperatures, too, will make soil contract, causing cracking, shifting, and other irregularities. Not only does this mar the property's appearance, it creates tripping hazards.

To fix the slab, Master Services drilled holes at strategic intervals along the driveway. Then, we injected each hole with polyurethane. As the polyurethane expanded beneath the slab, it raised it to an even position. Within just a few minutes, the driveway was restored.

To address this home's problems, our team turned to our Carbon Fiber Reinforcement method. This method involves soaking carbon fiber strapping in epoxy, then pressing the straps against a bowing or buckling wall. As the epoxy cures, it seals the strapping against the wall, which reinforces it and provides stabilization.
