Waterproofing Crawl Space in Knoxville, TN

Challenge

Keith L. of Knoxville, TN began experiencing the damaging affects of mold caused by water leakage and humidity in his crawl space. A musty, damp smell was plaguing his home. Solution

Foreman Jordan Pierce led the Master Services team through the rigorous repair. First, they had to eliminate the existing mold in the crawl space with mold spray. Next, CleanSpace liners were installed to isolate the crawl space from the earth in order to prevent future mold growth.

After the mold was taken care of, a SmartSump sump pump was installed to pump water out of the crawl space. A LawnScape Outlet was also put in to prevent rainwater from draining directly outside the crawl space walls. An Ice Guard was also placed on the drainage system to avoid frozen discharge lines. Next, EZ Flow Drainage Matting and SilverFlo Wall Insulation was laid to waterproof the dirt floor and maintain an energy efficient area. Finally, a crawl space Air Machine was installed to regulate moisture in the air.
