In Knoxville, Tennessee, the dedicated team at Master Services undertook the project of enhancing a crawlspace that had previously been encapsulated with low-quality materials. The initial encapsulation, carried out by the home builder using budget materials, had deteriorated over time, leading to tears and water accumulation. The primary objective was to prevent water damage, mold growth, decay, unpleasant odors, and the intrusion of pests into the area.
To accomplish this, we opted for the dependable CleanSpace® Wall system, renowned for its durability and long-lasting effectiveness, ensuring peace of mind for years to come!
In Knoxville, TN, the Knoxville Center for the Deaf reached out to Master Services concerning noticeable sinking in their foundation wall, which was so severe that it was affecting the interior floors. After conducting a thorough assessment of the foundation, our team identified soil erosion as the root cause of this issue, which was notably evidenced by the cracking around the window frames.
To prevent further deterioration and structural damage, we recommended the installation of helical piers. These piers are specially designed to provide substantial reinforcement to foundations, especially in the local clay terrain. By implementing these helical piers, Master Services ensured long-term stability and protected the building against further sinking and damage.
Upon completion of our work, we left the site after filling and cleaning the excavation area. Throughout the operation, the structure was able to continue serving the community effectively.
Plate anchor wall systems provide an alternative method to the expensive and disruptive task of rebuilding or replacing damaged foundation walls. Our wall anchor system reaches well away from the foundation to use the stability of the soil as an anchor preventing further bowing of the inside wall. This driveway was cracking. When there's too much rain, it can wash away the soil under concrete. Too little rain, and the clay-based soil will contract and shrink. Both of these extremes can lead to cracked, uneven pavement. To fix the problem, Master Services leveled the concrete slab by injecting it with PolyLyft.
