A previous client of Master Services, residing in Tallassee, TN, reached out to us for assistance with sagging floors. After having their crawlspace completely encapsulated by us the previous year, they now needed help in restoring the height of their kitchen floor. Our team conducted a thorough inspection, identifying the areas in the crawlspace requiring support. The challenge here was the limited height in these spots.
To address this challenge, we employed our Smart Jacks system, specifically designed for tight and compact spaces. These jacks offer robust support for weakened crawlspace beams, even in challenging conditions with only 25 inches of clearance. This solution was ideal because it not only provided immediate support but could also be adjusted over time if needed.
The foundation of this home near Clairfield, TN was underdoing settlement. Settlement happens when soils and ground beneath the structure shift or are washed away. To fix the problem, the team installed helical piers, which look like large screws and anchor the home to strong surrounding ground. With this system in place, the house should be stabilized for years to come.
