The crawlspace in Pigeon Forge, TN, faced persistent water issues, affecting air quality and floor stability. Seeking a permanent fix for cold floors and water disruption, the homeowner contacted Master Services.
Our solution involved installing a comprehensive Clean Space system alongside our Sedona dehumidifier to regulate humidity. An easy flow system was set up around the crawlspace perimeter, collecting water internally and directing it to the sump pump. The pump then efficiently discharged the water away from the home, as shown in the post-installation photo, ensuring a clean and dry environment.
The homeowner was delighted with the results, achieving the dry, stable, and improved air quality they desired.
The foundation of a lovely house in Pigeon Forge, TN, was facing serious settlement issues due to shifting or eroding soils beneath it. The homeowner, noticing cracks beginning to form in the window frames, sought assistance. Our team assessed the situation and determined that the home, located near commercial property, was almost two inches away from foundation collapse. To address this, we installed four helical piers at two different locations, anchoring the house securely to the stable ground below. We used steel brackets to connect the piers to the cement footing of the house. This effective solution ensured that the home remained level and secure, providing peace of mind for the homeowner.
Emma, a local business owner in Pigeon Forge, TN, began noticing unsettling dips in her living room floor that caused doors to jam and the surface to feel uneven. Concerned about the structural integrity of her home, she decided to reach out to Master Services. Our home inspector arrived promptly, performed a detailed evaluation of the crawl space, and identified where reinforcements were most urgently needed.
Based on our findings, we recommended fully encapsulating the crawl space to control moisture and prevent future issues. With that complete, our crew installed three SmartJacks at strategic points beneath the newly encapsulated crawl space. These durable, adjustable jacks were carefully positioned to stabilize weak beams and level the floor. By the end of the project, Emma was delighted with the outcome, relieved to have a solid, even floor once again—and the peace of mind that it will stay that way for years to come.
Master Services recently completed a project in Louisville, TN, with the aim of safeguarding against water damage, mold growth, decay, odors, and pests by encapsulating the crawlspace. The area had a previous plastic sheet used as insulation, but due to its low quality, the plastic was torn in multiple places, allowing water to collect on its surface.
To address these issues, we installed the reliable CleanSpace® Wall system, securely attaching it to the basement walls using carefully drilled plastic fasteners for maximum stability. The result is an area that can now be utilized as additional clean storage space, providing added functionality for the homeowner.
