Our company received a call from a former customers residing in Richlands, VA, who had previously had their crawlspace encapsulated. They requested additional support for the wooden beams due to neglect by the previous homeowner, resulting in natural wear and tear. Beams can deteriorate, shift, and settle over time. Master Services recently responded to concerns about horizontal cracks in a house in Richlands, VA. Our home inspector quickly identified soil settling as the root cause, a common issue in the area. To resolve the problem, after an appointment was scheduled, our production crew dug a small trench around the building and then installed several helical piers, which connect the cement footing to stable ground using steel brackets. The piers' unique design effectively grips the clay-rich soil, allowing us to close the cracks and restore stability to the home.

Our team visited a customer near Bishop, VA who had a moist crawlspace, particularly following extended periods of rain. We combated the moisture by installing our CleanSpace moisture barrier and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
